Disadvantaged children require not just a supportive household environment but also access to educational resources and the chance to cultivate their skills and abilities. Consequently, during the initial interaction with SOS Children's Village Hanoi, ROX Group made the decision to provide financial support for educational purposes. ROX Group made a donation of VND 50 million to buy 100 sets of textbooks for the upcoming academic year for SOS children. The modest yet significant donation will provide assistance to the youngsters in their pursuit of education, enabling them to confidently go on the road of learning, leading to a more promising future.
The Director of SOS Children's Village Hanoi, along with representatives from the ROX Group, paid a visit to a residence where an SOS mother and eight children live.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh, the Director of SOS Children's Village Hanoi, there are currently around 200 orphaned children residing in the village. Among them, around 100 students are enrolled in primary and secondary schools. The village's staff, moms, and aunts deeply value the proactive relationships and sponsorship provided by organizations like ROX Group.
We anticipate that this will serve as the first foundation for collaboration between the two parties, resulting in several tangible benefits for underprivileged children and paving the way for further significant cooperative initiatives in the future, said Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh.
