Benefiting from strategic policy shifts and synchronized infrastructure development, the port city of Hai Phong is rising to become an international logistics hub and a trusted destination for investors.
A Launchpad for Hai Phong
The 3rd meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC III) was recently held in Hai Phong, attracting more than 1,300 domestic and international delegates. At the event, 32 projects and 7 memoranda of investment cooperation, with a total capital of over USD 15.6 billion, were officially awarded.
At this very time, Hai Phong received the Investment Decision for four new deep-water ports at Lach Huyen— a key national project approved by the Government to enhance trade capacity and affirm the city's stature as a modern port metropolis and a regional and international logistics center.
Simultaneously, Hai Phong was granted Resolution No. 226/2025/QH15 by the National Assembly, which introduces a pilot mechanism with special development policies for the city. This is considered a strategic breakthrough, laying a new institutional foundation and contributing to Hai Phong's ambition of becoming a leading growth engine in the Red River Delta region.
With its strategic location as the gateway to the sea in the North, Hai Phong belongs to the Northern growth engine zone (Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh) and is positioned along key economic corridors: Kunming (China) - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh; Nanning (China) - Lang Son - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh; and the coastal economic belt (Quang Ninh - Hai Phong - Thai Binh - Nam Dinh - Ninh Binh).

ABAC III and the Hai Phong Investment Promotion Conference 2025 (held on the sidelines of ABAC III) truly serve as launchpads for Hai Phong to ascend to new heights during this period of integration and development.
The success of these dual events has further energized and motivated the business community, particularly industrial real estate developers, in their efforts to attract investment.
Gia Loc Industrial Park – The Strategic Springboard of ROX iPark in the Port City

Perspective view of Gia Loc IP
Appearing at the exhibition held during ABAC III, ROX iPark left a positive impression on visitors— from the modern, professional booth setup to the thorough and detailed information provided during consultations.
In the past three years, ROX iPark has boldly invested thousands of billions of VND to expand its network of industrial parks at strategic locations across both northern and southern Vietnam.
In Hai Phong, ROX iPark is currently focusing on completing infrastructure for the 198-hectare Gia Loc Industrial Park. The project enjoys a prime location along the key Northern economic development axis (Hai Phong - Quang Ninh), adjacent to National Highway 5B (Hai Phong - Hanoi), and connects seamlessly to major transportation nodes leading to Hai Phong, Hanoi, Dinh Vu Port - Hai Phong, Cai Lan Port - Quang Ninh, and Noi Bai International Airport.
According to a ROX iPark representative, Phase I of Gia Loc Industrial Park—covering approximately 100 hectares—has completed all essential infrastructure (electricity, water supply, greenery, etc.) and is ready for handover to clients.
The first tenants at Gia Loc IP, operating in fields such as electronics, mechanical engineering, and aluminum extrusion, have expressed high satisfaction with ROX iPark's services, citing its end-to-end service quality across the value chain—from investment support, legal consulting to development, business, marketing, and operational management.
In a landscape where ESG has become a critical criterion for both governments and businesses in reshaping their development strategies, ROX iPark is leading the way by constructing smart industrial parks. This demonstrates the company's commitment to accompanying clients in realizing their green development strategies from the very foundation of production.
With nearly 30 years of experience, deep insight into the domestic market, and a strategy of “smart transformation of industrial parks," ROX iPark is not only raising the standard for industrial parks in Vietnam but is also pioneering a new development model that harmonizes economic growth with sustainability.
