Joining Hands to Build Secure Homes for Disadvantaged Families in Lao Cai
12:00 | 27/11/2025

As winter approaches, four newly built homes have risen in the highlands of Lao Cai, bringing warmth and compassion to disadvantaged families in Hung Khanh Commune through the “ROX Share – Sharing Love" program. These homes were gifted through the collaboration of ROX Group, ROX Key, and Popplife with local authorities.

Rebuilding Homes, Strengthening Bonds of Compassion

Hung Khanh Commune has more than half of its population belonging to ethnic minority groups, many of whom face difficult living conditions and limited employment opportunities.

Among them are four single-parent households living in severely dilapidated homes: an elderly woman over 80 caring for her seriously ill child and young grandchild; a father suffering from a life-threatening illness striving to keep his children in school; another household head battling illness while caring for a paralyzed mother and young child; and a family of four lacking farmland and stable jobs. All of them lived in decaying wooden houses that could collapse at any moment.

In response to the call from local authorities, ROX Group, ROX Key, and Popplife contributed VND 200 million to join residents and local leaders in rebuilding four sturdy, clean, and safe homes.

By October, all funding had been transferred to the families for construction. The new houses were completed by mid-November—just in time for the families to welcome winter in warm and secure shelters.

A representative of Hung Khanh Commune said, “This is timely and deeply humane support. Each new home not only stabilizes people's lives but also renews their confidence and motivation to overcome hardship."

The newly built homes—solid and durable—provide not only shelter from the elements but also spark new hope in the mountain community.

Spreading a Culture of Good Living Across the Community

In ROX Group's development philosophy, social responsibility is not a peripheral initiative but a core part of its corporate culture—spreading a spirit of good living and contributing to a sustainable future for communities.

Rooted in this vision, the ROX Share program was established as a continuous series of initiatives throughout the Group's journey, with two main branches: “Accompany You to School" and “Sharing Love." While “Accompany You to School" focuses on supporting disadvantaged students and improving educational conditions in underserved areas, “Sharing Love" aims to assist families in extreme hardship, the elderly living alone, and individuals battling illness. Both pillars are connected by the same underlying values: to support, to create opportunity, and to inspire the will to overcome adversity. ROX Share has become a bridge that carries the spirit of kindness from within the enterprise out to the broader community.

Within the organization, the spirit of sharing is also nurtured through teambuilding events, internal fundraising, scholarships and bicycles for underprivileged students, and the annual “Drop of Love" blood donation program, which consistently receives enthusiastic participation. ROX Share has truly become a “station of compassion," connecting the hearts of thousands of ROX members across the country.

In 2025, the ROX Share journey of goodwill has traveled across countless regions. From Tet gifts warming the hearts of the poor, hospital visits to the National Children's Hospital, trips to the Central region to honor heroic martyrs, disaster relief missions, gifts for mountain schools, blood donation drives, and rebuilding homes for disadvantaged families—every destination has become a small story of humanity, spreading the spirit of good living throughout society.

The 2025 Drop of Love humanitarian blood donation event attracted strong participation from staff.

Behind every initiative is the collective effort of the entire ROX ecosystem. Members such as ROX Living, ROX Signature, ROX Key, ROX Energy, TNPM, TNTech, TNTalent… each contribute their own ideas and efforts, extending the chain of community-support activities under the ROX Share umbrella.

On November 22, a delegation from ROX Group – ROX Key – Popplife visited Hung Khanh Commune to inspect the completed homes and present gifts to local students.

Every ROX Share initiative—such as the one in Hung Khanh—serves as a building block for a compassionate and thriving community, where a spirit of good living flows from the heart of the enterprise to millions of other hearts. ROX Group believes that social responsibility is not merely about giving, but about planting trust, inspiring resilience, and creating lasting human values for people and for society.
