Young Professionals Narrow the Banking Skills Gap with TWings Academy
09:00 | 13/12/2025

Amid the banking sector's rapid transformation and rising demand for hands-on capabilities, TWings Academy is emerging as a strong pillar helping young professionals bridge the skills gap as they enter the industry.

After one year of operation, the academy's practice-oriented training model has demonstrated clear effectiveness, with 100% of graduates successfully recruited by banks upon completing the program.

Real Experience, High-Quality Outcomes

TWings Academy was established with the vision of becoming a trusted bridge between high-quality human resources and leading banks and financial institutions. This practice-based academy focuses on in-depth training aligned with real business needs, particularly in Customer Relationship roles. These positions have strong recruitment demand but require practical skills that university graduates often lack.

With the motto “Practical Learning – Practical Training – Real-World Application," TWings Academy applies a Blended Learning model that combines online theoretical instruction with on-site training at partner banks, enabling learners to master foundational knowledge while gaining exposure to real banking operations throughout the course.

In its first year of operation, TWings Academy launched three training programs: Basic Customer Relationship, Personal Customer Relationship, and Corporate Customer Relationship, attracting numerous students from universities. The courses are led by a mentor team comprising senior leaders from MSB, with a strong focus on skills such as needs assessment, profile evaluation, case handling, and customer service processes.

As one of the first cohort trainees, Ms. Dang Thi Van Anh, currently working at MSB Cau Giay, said, “The course at TWings Academy provides in-depth and highly practical knowledge. The mentors and instructors are very dedicated, helping me understand both professional operations and how to interact with customers in a real working environment."

From another perspective, Ms. Nguyen Van Anh, who is currently working at MSB Ha Noi, said, “After finishing the course, you get addicted – addicted to case studies, addicted to mentors, addicted to the class vibe. You gain solid foundational knowledge, get hands-on practice, and even earn income along the way – it really doesn't get better than that."

Many other trainees also rated the program as highly applicable and closely aligned with job requirements. Training sessions on communication, analytical thinking, portfolio management, and handling complex situations have become a crucial foundation, enabling them to feel confident from their very first days at work.

Notably, 100% of trainees who completed the program received job offers at MSB branches and transaction offices, clearly demonstrating the effectiveness of the training model. At the same time, income support policies during the internship period help reduce financial pressure and sustain learners' long-term motivation.

Building a Bridge from Lecture Halls to Banks

Alongside training activities, a series of seminars on diverse topics held at universities has helped students gain practical insights into modern banking operations and how to build a professional workplace image—content that traditional academic programs often struggle to fully provide. Through these initiatives, students can define their career paths early and prepare relevant skills during a period of strong restructuring in the finance and banking sector.

TWings Academy is also rolling out a podcast series focusing on Gen Z and financial management, offering approachable, up-to-date, and practical perspectives for students. This channel helps young people better understand personal financial behavior, career mindset, and the skills needed to adapt to the digital era, thereby expanding access to knowledge beyond the traditional classroom.

Collaboration between TWings Academy and universities has also emerged as a notable highlight in 2025. University representatives have assessed the academy as playing the role of a “practical bridge," enabling students to study while experiencing real work, significantly shortening their adaptation period when entering the profession.

From the corporate perspective, the HR Director of MSB affirmed that cooperation with TWings Academy is a long-term strategy to ensure a high-quality talent pipeline aligned with the bank's transformation pace. Graduates are assessed as having strong adaptability, quickly grasping processes, and demonstrating a standardized service mindset.

The results of the first year serve as an important foundation for TWings Academy to continue expanding its training programs and diversified activities in 2026. With the support of strategic partners and an experienced mentor team, the academy is gradually affirming its role as a bridge connecting high-quality human resources with leading banks and financial institutions.
