Gia Loc Industrial Park is currently one of the largest industrial parks in Hai Duong Province and one of four industrial parks developed by ROX iPark in the region. Covering a total area of 198 hectares, the first phase spans over 98 hectares. Key infrastructure elements such as street lighting, internal roadways, wastewater treatment plants, and telecommunications networks are actively under construction. Gia Loc Industrial Park aims to attract industries such as mechanical engineering, electronics assembly, healthcare, logistics, and other environmentally friendly sectors. Therefore, this event is not merely a symbolic movement but a concrete step towards realizing ROX iPark's vision of a green industrial ecosystem integrated with smart technology. Beyond improving the ecological environment within the industrial park, the initiative raises awareness about environmental protection and fosters a sense of community among businesses striving for sustainable development.
ROX iPark's Strategy: Developing Industrial Parks That Are Both Green and Smart
At Quang Minh Industrial Park, high-pressure sodium lamps have been replaced with LED lights, reducing energy consumption and saving tens of millions of VND in electricity costs annually. This is one of the energy-saving measures that ROX iPark has implemented since 2021. The company also plans to transition to solar power across all 14 industrial parks under its management.
In addition to energy conservation, ROX iPark utilizes technology to monitor and control emissions from each secondary investor. If a factory exceeds the prescribed emission levels, immediate interventions are made. The company also encourages industrial park operators to adopt the TNTech Smart Industrial Ecosystem (T.SIE) solution to enhance park management efficiency. This comprehensive system operates on a centralized data management platform, integrating technology, infrastructure, and intelligent services to improve the quality and operational efficiency of industrial parks.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, General Director of ROX iPARK Vietnam Investment Development Joint Stock Company, stated that the smart industrial park solution has been piloted at Quang Minh Industrial Park (Hanoi) and has proven to be highly efficient and cost-effective. “FDI enterprises are particularly interested in our model because we ensure security within the industrial park, optimize energy consumption, and aim to reduce carbon emissions, said Ms. Thuy.
According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnam aims to have 40-50% of its existing industrial parks converted into eco-industrial parks by 2030. By investing in sustainable infrastructure, leveraging modern technology, and creating a work environment in harmony with nature, companies like ROX iPark are driving the realization of a sustainable industrial ecosystem, aligning with global development trends.
