On the Dinosaur's Back
The winding dirt road leading to Sung Chang was slippery after the rain. The wheel tracks of later vehicles pressed upon those of earlier ones, causing the soil in the middle to rise. Under the headlights, the road appeared like the back of a dinosaur.
"The feeling of sitting in the car at that moment was no different from riding an actual dinosaur. My heart would occasionally skip a beat when the 'dinosaur' seemed to want to throw the car off its back," recalled Ngo Hai Phong, a member of ROX Group's charitable delegation.
The Sharing Love and Accompany You to School journeys under the ROX Share program to support children in mountainous areas often pass through such treacherous roads. But hardship never deters the steps of ROX people.

"Poor transportation is a major barrier that deprives these children of opportunities. That's why I always want to directly participate in the Group's CSR activities to do something meaningful for them," said Mr. Phong.
From the journeys on "dinosaur backs", ROX people not only bring material support but also patiently sow seeds of love, knowledge, nurturing dreams and aspirations in the hearts of highland children.
ROX people believe that one day, the children of today will grow up and rise beyond the remote villages, turning these "dinosaur back" roads into paved roads, bringing knowledge and civilization to every hamlet. When building the green library in Sung Chang (Yen Minh, Ha Giang), in addition to donating books and funds for flooring and framing, ROX people rolled up their sleeves to wash carpets, clean rooms, and decorate the library. Every smile, every eager gaze from the children is the motivation for ROX people to continue their journey, remaining steadfast in their mission to bring knowledge to the most remote corners.
Ms. Vu Thi Huyen said, "Most community activities under the ROX Share program are carried out with both financial contributions and direct participation from staff members." For example, in the fundraising program to build a school in Tom Lam (Bac Kan – now merged into Thai Nguyen Province), the Group funded the majority while the rest was raised through staff donations. This made everyone feel joyful to directly contribute both effort and resources to a good cause.
Turning Sun and Wind into Development Opportunities
In 2021, ROX Group invested in projects addressing major global challenges such as technology, clean energy, smart industrial zones, and green real estate – creating convenient and beneficial values for future generations.
The company recognized that Vietnam has many sun- and wind-rich regions where people still face hardships due to their reliance on agriculture. For instance, Ninh Thuan is a region with a harsh climate, year-round heat, and land unsuitable for cultivation. Data shows that 1 hectare of traditional agricultural land yields only about 10 million VND/year in profit. Through research, ROX Group pointed out that if used for renewable energy farms, profits could reach up to 3.8 billion VND/hectare/year.

ROX Group has developed renewable energy projects in Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, and the Southeast region. Within just two years, the Group rapidly expanded its operations and commissioned three solar power plants.
These solar power projects have made meaningful contributions to localities, creating more jobs for workers. Installing solar panels across tens of hectares – as in the Phuoc Huu project (65 MWp, 69 ha) – is how ROX Group turns challenges into advantages, efficiently harnessing the local solar resource. The Phuoc Huu solar power plant has significantly contributed to the local economy and has accompanied local authorities and residents on the journey toward sustainable and modern rural development.
For the environment, ROX Group's three solar power plants help reduce more than 453,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually, contributing to Vietnam's green growth and sustainable development goals.
Although a newcomer, ROX Group's ambition in clean energy is intense. The company aims to reach a total generation capacity of 5,000 MW by the end of 2030, becoming one of Vietnam's leading private enterprises in renewable energy.
