On August 31, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov presented the Dostuk Order of Friendship to Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Advisory Board of ROX Group, in recognition of his significant contributions to promoting economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The ceremony took place during a meeting between Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and President Sadyr Japarov.
Dostuk, meaning “Friendship”, is a state decoration of Kyrgyzstan awarded to individuals and organizations for their contributions to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and other countries and the international community.
The conferment of the Dostuk Order on Mr. Tran Anh Tuan was carried out by the Kyrgyz side in recognition of the business community’s contributions to Vietnam–Kyrgyzstan cooperation.
The Dostuk Order has previously been awarded to a number of international figures, including Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, President of United World Wrestling Nenad Lalović, and former Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov.
President Sadyr Japarov highly valued the activities and contributions of Vietnamese businesses in Kyrgyzstan, particularly ROX Group, which is investing in the energy and urban infrastructure sectors. He affirmed that the Kyrgyz government would continue to support and faciliate ROX Group in the effective implementation of its projects and the expansion of its investment and business activities in Kyrgyzstan.
In Kyrgyzstan, ROX Group is among the Vietnamese enterprises engaged in development cooperation. ROX Group’s member companies are development partners in a number of multibillion-dollar projects, including the Royal Central Park all-in-one urban development project and the ROX Issyk-Kul Solar Farm.
Royal Central Park is planned on an area spanning of 53.5 hectares in Bishkek, with residential, commercial, service and public facilities. Meanwhile, the ROX Issyk-Kul Solar Farm has a planned capacity of 1,900 MWp and total investment capital of approximately US$1.4 billion. Phase I, with a capacity of 175 MWp, was completed and put into operation in June 2026.

In addition to its investment activities, as of June 30, 2026, ROX Group’s member companies had provided approximately US$1.24 million in sponsorship and social support programs in Kyrgyzstan. They had also contributed nearly US$1 million to the development of the General Master Plan for Bishkek.
Under the commitments, three schools and three kindergartens are expected to be built in Bishkek, with a total value of approximately US$25 million.
Through investment and economic cooperation activities in Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan has contributed to strengthening business ties between the two countries across sectors such as real estate, renewable energy and technology. In addition to economic cooperation, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan has also proposed a number of cultural exchange initiatives, including the construction of a statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Bishkek and an initiative to place a statue of national hero Manas in Hanoi. These activities aim to strengthen cultural exchange, mutual understanding and people-to-people connections between the two countries.
The conferment of the Dostuk Order on a Vietnamese entrepreneur by the President of Kyrgyzstan represents recognition by the Kyrgyz side of concrete contributions to cooperation between the two countries, particularly in investment. It also highlights the role of the business community in creating stronger economic connections and promoting exchanges between the peoples of Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan.
